Lead Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for Lead Solution Architect who has experience in Developing Microstrategy Mobile applications, Creating High performance data models for Pharmaceutical BI (Business Intelligence) Applications. Also require prior experience in creating the DataMart’s/Data ware house using ETL Tools like MSBI SSIS or Informatica. This Role overall responsible for design, development and implementation of MicroStrategy Reports, Dashboards, Graphs and self-service enabled reports. Responsible for design and storage of data in the database using ETL MSBI SSIS. Support MicroStrategy environment using schema objects, metadata, reports, templates and dashboards using MicroStrategy 9.4.1 and other versions. Manage configuration and deployment of customized MicroStrategy Mobile Apps for Enterprise Distribution. This role responsible for developing TikaDevice and TikaPharma Mobile Applications and Creating the underlying databases (Data Models) for TikaMobile Clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the Business partners and Transform their business requirements in to prototype solution like storyboards or mockups, speeding up the development and aiding in the design, build and deployment of Tika Applications.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of relational structures, dimensional data modeling, Data warehouse and BI techniques.
  • Utilize Kimball dimensional modeling, OLTP and OLAP database designs and implementation strategies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical direction with a specific focus on Data Modeling and development.
  • Responsible for Creating and Maintaining Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for the TikaMobile Clients.
  • Develop dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs and scorecards utilizing MicroStrategy 9+ version software.
  • Design Data ware house (Data Model) and all table structures, Create ETL Process using Microsoft SSIS Source to Target ETL logic and dashboard development.
  • Creating ETL Architecture Design using SSIS and create source to target mappings based on business requirements
  • Create SQL procedures/ssis mappings to create summarized tables.
  • Develop all Microsoft SSIS ETL processes and procedures for all development work.
  • SQL / PL SQL Programing skills along with Oracle Database & SQL Server
  • Utilize Visual Insight tool to create customized and interactive dashboards to explore the business data.
  • Work closely with Analytics team to enable datasets for self-service analytics for multiple analytical tools like Visual Insight, MicroStrategy Web and future toolsets.
  • Develop dashboards for mobile and web versions.
  • Develop and maintain the interface design plans and technical design documents for development of the application according to business requirement.
  • Follow Object development, Object maintenance and acceptance testing for all development efforts.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical support to the user community.
  • Design reports as per business requirement in MicroStrategy from various source systems like Excel file, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Deploy Mobile Applications, Reports and Dashboards using MicroStrategy Object Manager.
  • Create Triggers and Schedule using MicroStrategy Command manager
  • Create Application utilization reports and help the Business Manger to increase the utilization.
  • Manage MicroStrategy Administrative activities like creating users, updating/disabling the user access and Security activities.
  • Customize the developed Mobile Application into TikaDevice and TikaPharma Platforms.
  • Create and deploy MicroStrategy mobile configurations to client devices (partnered with MDM team).
  • Create and update all necessary design documentation as per the project requirement.
  • Provide proactive production support for MicroStrategy and other BI/Analytics applications. This includes monitoring usage patterns and recommending improvements.
  • Senior member of team that interacts with business engagement teams to define dashboards and reporting solutions to meet diverse, complex business needs. collaboration with team members, develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions.
  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical commercial data terms like NRx, Trx, NBRx & CPA

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computers Science or any a technical specialization in engineering.
  • 7+ Years of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Applications experience including gathering requirements, design, development, administration, testing, and support
  • 3+ years of strong MicroStrategy (version 9 at a minimum, version 10 preferred) development experience including MicroStrategy web customizations and MicroStrategy report design
  • 3+ Years of ETL Development Experience using Microsoft SSIS or Informatica.
  • Experience in creating source to target mappings based on business requirements
  • Experience in creating stored procedures and SQL Agent jobs for daily data loads
  • Exposure to infrastructure design, implementation, support and management solutions
  • Fluent with the implemented MicroStrategy security model
  • Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema) concepts.
  • Strong experience on Schema objects like Logical tables, Attributes, Facts, Hierarchies etc.
  • Strong experience on Public objects like Metrics, Filter, Prompts, Custom Groups, Consolidations, Reports, Documents and Dashboards
